Faithful, Trustworthy God,
Father of all beginnings & all endings:

be at my beginning,
be at my ending,
be in my loving,
be in my laughing
be in my weeping,
be in my serving,
be in my sinning,
be in my turning,
be in my returning
be in my thinking,
be in my resting,
be in my giving,
be in my asking.

May my ending know no greater blessing
Than my beginning honors your gracious Name:

Amen & Amen!

“The righteousness of God is revealed,
our little faith invested in God’s great faithfulness.”
Romans 1:17

About Peter Notehelfer

I'm a retired people person who now finds the time to watch the little details of the world without worrying about being watched by anyone . . . I live on an Island north of Seattle with my wife named Ellen, a yellow dog named McGee, a yellow cat named Gatzby, and four fine chickens . . . I read fiction, bake bread, smoke salmon, and fish whenever the weather allows . . . Oh, and yes, I try to write a poem every day simply to avoid senility!

  1. I’d have drawn no more grace from having attended mass than from reading this lovely prayer
